Title: Inside Salesperson

General Job Description: The position of Inside Salesperson for Morsches Builders Mart functions as the conduit for all orders and requests from customers to appropriate departments of Morsches Builders Mart. Our goal as Inside Sales is to distribute building materials to our customers efficiently and profitably.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Following Morsches Builders Marts procedures in the most organized and profitable way to both benefit the customer and Morsches Builders Mart.
• Review incoming and outgoing information to make sure it is accurate and complete.
• Communicate with customers, both professional contractors and general public on the phone and in person with friendly customer service.
• Coordinate all aspects of daily business: Monitor, manage and control pre-order reports.
• Track and maintains all special orders and constantly monitor for timely shipment & validity status.
• Monitor, manage and control pending quotes in lumber, millwork, and engineering.
• Manage permanent and temporary pricing.
• Manage permanent and temporary quote reports.
• Know and promote stock products and remain updated on new and upcoming products.
• Attend seminars/shows/training as needed.
• Communicate and instruct departments of requirements needed to satisfy the customer in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist fellow workers with excess work.
• Always maintain a positive image as a company representative.
• Address any situation in a positive manner.
• Adhere to all company standards and follow the rules and regulations of the employee handbook.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Other duties assigned by Management.
• Personally, assists walk-in customers with sale of materials and load the materials purchased.
• Manage cash and charge sales at the point of sale.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
• Noise level in the work environment is quiet to noisy.
• Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
• The employee in this position is generally required to sit.
• This position requires long periods of sitting and using a computer.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently required to walk to and from various areas within the facility.
• Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
