- Sustainability services include ESG Assessment, Strategy & Implementation, and Communications Advisory.
- Strategic Communications services include Corporate Communications, Financial and Transaction Communications, Investor Relations, Public Affairs and Campaigns, Crisis and Special Situations, and Research.
Our Proxy and M&A Services teams support public companies through some of their most critical moments - from annual and special shareholder meetings to mergers and acquisitions, proxy contests, tender offers, and other complex corporate events. Through shareholder monitoring, market surveillance, and strategic analysis, we help clients understand their ownership base, track market activity, and assess exposure to activism and governance risk.
The Opportunity
As an Analyst, you will work closely with experienced professionals and subject-matter experts to support proxy solicitation in a variety of scenarios from annual meetings to activism defense. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to voting analysis, shareholder engagement, and governance advisory work, along with regular feedback to support your professional development.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and analyzing shareholder and market data
- Conducting research and managing databases to support client engagements
- Coordinating with brokers and banks on behalf of clients
- Communicating with institutional and retail shareholders regarding proxy matters
- Soliciting and tracking shareholder votes
- Designing and preparing client reports, updates, and meeting materials
- Responding to inbound shareholder inquiries related to proxy solicitations
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required; a focus on Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team
- Demonstrated customer service mindset and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
The anticipated pay range for this role is $65,000 to $90,000 with an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. We pay commensurate with the candidate’s experience and our internal practices. This salary is expected to increase as the candidate grows in industry knowledge.
