Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload items from trucks, ensuring that all belongings are handled with care.
- Pack items securely for transport, using appropriate materials to prevent damage.
- Assist in the disassembly and reassembly of furniture and other large items as needed.
- Navigate various locations efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure a smooth moving process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the moving truck.
- Follow instructions from supervisors regarding specific tasks or routes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in moving or related physical labor is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
