Full Job Description

The company is hiring a Graphic Designer/Salesperson to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to express your creativity by designing a variety of signs for multiple industries. Since this job deals with a diverse range of clients, it’s essential that you have a good foundation of Design to adapt to different specifications from day-to-day. In addition, you will be managing our customers' journey from initial contact to a project's completion.

Graphic Designer/Salesperson Responsibilities:

• Courteously accommodating and taking note of customers' wants.
• Giving creative suggestions to tweak and optimize the clients' signs.
• Collecting any design pegs, logos, or icons needed for the project.
• Determining sign specifications (size, shape, color, quantity, lead time).
• Drafting and editing actual designs.
• Coordinating with the client regarding drafts and necessary edits.
• Gaining approval on your project's design.
• Beginning the production process (select material and initiate printing).
• Entering project specifications on the in-house software for job tracking.
• Keeping track of lead times to ensure timely completion of projects.

Working Conditions/Requirements:

• On-site, indoor work at Morristown Signs.
• Good application of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience working in the Sign Manufacturing industry. (nice to have but not a must)
• Good communication skills.
• Positive attitude towards learning and collaborating.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
