Job Description:
Morristown Junior-Senior High School is seeking a temporary substitute Choir teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The start date for this position is August 5, 2026.
Job Qualifications:
• Prior teaching experience and/or background in music preferred
• Knowledge of best practices to meet the individual needs of students at a variety of skill levels
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators
• Able to make data-informed decisions that will build upon each child’s area of strengths and needs
• Ability to incorporate technology effectively to support learning and instruction
• Other characteristics include: highly organized, strong communication skills, and self-motivated
Job Requirements:
Certification/License: Valid Indiana teaching license or substitute teaching license
Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field preferred
