What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Cook (catering) - St. Paul RiverCentre position at Morrissey Hospitality?
The RiverCentre in downtown St. Paul is hiring immediately for a Utility Cook.
This position assists with the preparation of menu items along with other duties.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients for garnishes, salads and cold plates.
Portion and arrange food on serving dishes and trays, and add garnishes according to menu specifications.
Transport food items, china and equipment between work areas and catering service areas.
Assists at breakdown stations during functions.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of storerooms and coolers.
Assists dishwashing staff with cleaning dishes, and cleans kitchen equipment and work areas.
Loads and/or unloads trucks picking up or delivering food or supplies.
Qualifications:Job Requirements:
Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
Ability to handle the physical demands of walking, squatting and reaching, and lift or move up to 50 lbs frequently.
