We are currently seeking a Job Captain to join our team in Costa Mesa!
Responsibilities
- Preparation of Construction Documents
- BIM model management and content creation
- Interface with Authorities Having Jurisdiction to attain project approvals
- Construction administration (review of RFI’s and Submittals)
- Coordination of design and documentation with junior team members
Candidate Qualities
- Ability to guide and work with a team
- Positive approach, deadline aware and detail oriented
- Ability to convey digital design concepts and methods to team members
- Proactive approach and use of new digital design tools
Experience & Technical Skills
- 5 years of professional experience in educational design and construction
- In-depth knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
- Experience with DSA and local Authorities Having Jurisdiction
- Working knowledge of the CBC and Title 5
- Experience in construction administration
Education & Credentials
· Architectural associate degree or bachelor’s is preferred
· LEED BD C or WELL certification is preferred.
