What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loss Prevention Agent position at Morrison Security Corporation?
Morrison Security Corporation is currently looking for experienced Loss Prevention Agents to work in the City of Chicago or Homer Glenn. Openings are available now.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years LP experience in Grocery Industry
- Current PERC Card
- Must be knowledgeable in the elements needed for apprehensions, as well as experience in following those elements when conducting apprehensions.
- Reliable transportation, as employees will travel from site to site (Northern/Northwestern Suburbs and Downtown Chicago)
- Great observation and communications skills
- Must be computer literate
- Must be flexible in available daytime hours and commit to working weekends
- Must be able to physically walk or stand for long periods of time
- Must be knowledgeable of Loss Prevention procedures and apprehensions
Essential Functions:
- Conduct undercover surveillance to detect and apprehend shoplifters.
- Recover assets and/or make safe, by-the-book, apprehensions.
- Ensure compliance with company and client apprehension guidelines.
- Have knowledge of and maintain strict compliance with the law and company policies concerning apprehensions, search and seizure, and the preservation of evidence.
- Prepare prompt and complete reports relative to all incidents, merchandise recoveries, and other activities as assigned by the Loss Prevention Manager.
- Testify in court concerning any criminal or civil case.
- To maintain a professional attitude with sincerity, integrity, and an ongoing dedication to the highest levels of customer service.
