Position: Civil Engineer Internship
Job Status: Nonexempt-hourly

Morrison-Maierle provides civil engineering design and consulting for projects related to transportation, airports, industrial, municipal infrastructures, water, land development, environmental, survey, planning, CAD, and buildings focused on structural, mechanical, electrical and information communication technology.
These responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with design teams to support project tasks.
- Provide support with construction observation and site inspections to understand how design work comes together.
- Build knowledge of construction engineering and how it integrates with design and consulting practices.
- Develop a solid understanding of civil engineering principles within a consulting engineering environment.
- Gain hands-on exposure to engineering teams, construction methods, contractors, and contract administration processes.
- Learn safety standards, field protocols, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strengthen communication skills through regular collaboration with engineers, project managers, and contractors.
- Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Self-starter with a willingness to learn
