- 2-3 years of paralegal experience in civil litigation, preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of Rhode Island court rules, procedures, and filing requirements
- Experience drafting and preparing pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and motions
- Proven ability to review, analyze, and summarize depositions, and other key documents
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PDF editing tools (Bates stamping, file merging/splitting), and case management software
- Ability to manage multiple cases, track deadlines, and stay organized
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients, and court personnel
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Familiarity document management best practices
- Strong research abilities, including use of legal research platforms (e.g., Lexis, Westlaw)
