Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Wallingford, CT for an Executive Chef. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, menu planning, and food preparation. They will ensure that meals are prepared to the highest culinary and nutritional standards, manage kitchen staff, monitor inventory, and maintain kitchen cleanliness. The Executive Chef will also collaborate with other departments to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Culinary Management, Menu Planning, and Food Preparation skills
- Team Leadership, Staff Management, and Training abilities
- Strong knowledge of Sanitation Regulations, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-paced and dynamic environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience is required
- Experience in senior living or healthcare dining services is required
