Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP - Shared Living Option / Kenduskeag,Maine
Morrison Center
is seeking a Direct Support Professional for a Part -Time positoin in a residential setting in Kenduskeag Maine. This position will support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a warm, shared living environment.
Requirements of the Direct Support Professional (DSP):
- DSP certification preferred, but if you are motivated we are happy to train you!
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred
- Prior experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Valid Maine Driver's license required and clean driving record
Benefits of the Job:
- Pay $21 an hour
- Hours: 16 hours a week, Monday - Friday
- Flexible start time as early as 10am.

Responsibilities of the Direct Support Professional (DSP):
- Supporting residents with daily living skills, including meal preparation, personal care, and wellness needs.
- Planning and engaging in meaningful, goal-oriented activities tailored to each individual.
- Documenting progress and providing accurate, up-to-date records through our electronic system.
- Helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment as part of a supportive team.
- Encouraging community involvement and life skills development.
- Being a positive and collaborative team member.
