Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our transportation team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to community mobility while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Duties
- Follow all traffic laws, vehicle codes, emergency response procedures for transportation, and school or transit policies at all times.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and emergency equipment.
- Respond quickly to traffic changes or road hazards
- Maintain clear communication with dispatchers
- Complete accurate logs of trips, incidents, and vehicle maintenance reports; document any safety concerns or irregularities promptly.
Experience
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class
- Proven experience with operating a manual transmission .
- Knowledge of transportation safety regulations, traffic laws, vehicle codes, and emergency response procedures for transportation.
- Demonstrated ability to respond quickly to traffic changes and maintain composure under pressure.
