The position is an 2nd shift ( 2:30pm-10:30pm) shift working in our state of the art, climate controlled facility, with the opportunity for voluntary overtime and, at times, may require overtime beyond the normal workday.
Essential Functions:
- Daily inventory/cycle count and requisition parts to order.
- Prepare periodic inventory or maintain a perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.
- Keep accurate records of parts inventory and incoming orders daily.
- Receive and issue parts in the system daily.
- Issue tools and equipment to workers and maintain records of tools and equipment issued and returned.
- Receive and put away parts delivered daily by the end of the shift.
- Receive and process all Purchase Orders (POs) in real-time.
- Systematically organize and maintain parts room in accordance with instructions.
- Communicate with all authorized team members daily to timely and correctly review any orders for parts requested.
- Communicate part needs with supervisor.
- Maintain returned parts for proper inventory maintenance.
- Assist with annual evaluation of parts usage to determine what needs to be stocked and what needs to be removed from stock per manager and usage reports.
- Manning the parts window/desk.
- Ensure parts room security/parts room access.
- Enable and maintain Grainger machine accesses.
- Monitor and maintain outside/ overnight and weekend requests for tools.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be primarily in our climate-controlled facility. The plant floor is subject to vibration and equipment noise leading to a loud environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and might also be exposed to outside conditions, tight spaces, cleaning solvents and heights.
Physical Demands: The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen.
- Continuous (6 or more hours per day) bending, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, reaching, lifting, and grasping.
- Continuous (6 or more hours per day) talking, listening, teaching, and repetitive motion, hand/wrist movement.
- Continuous (6 or more hours per day) standing and walking.
- Frequent (1 to 3 hours per day) work in a stooped position.
- Good eyesight and normal hearing.
- Ability to move and lift objects, frequently 50 lbs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days, nights and hours may vary depending on assigned shift and productions requirements. This position may require significant work hours beyond the normal workday based on the demands of the business cycle or customer volume of business.
Travel: Should not be required.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- 1 year of parts experience, preferred.
- Experience using E-maintenance or other inventory system preferred.
Licenses and Certifications: None.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

The pay range for this role is:
21 - 23 USD per hour(Missouri)
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Salary : $21 - $23
