Summary of Position:
Responsible for all activities relating to machine set-up. Starting pay based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Set-up and operate CNC and various machines
- Diagnose and correct equipment and processes
- Indentify and recommend process improvements
- Use of various job-related hand tools and repair equipment
- Use and read various types of quality gaging instruments and tools
- Works to close metallurgical and dimensional tolerances
- Knowledge and ability to run manual and CNC machines
- Previous experience with CNC programming
- Other duties as required
Skills:
- Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
- Analytical skills to include applicable record keeping
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
- Preferred Certificate in CNC programming
- At least 4 years of applicable, well-rounded experience
- Clear understanding of machine tool accuracies, fixturing and tool offsets
- Must own personal tools
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must be flexible to work any shift and overtime if necessary
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods in a factory environment and possess no restrictions with ergonomics.
