On Saturday, July 11, 2026, Morris Jenkins is hosting a career fair at our Charlotte location! And this is for ALL experience levels! If you’ve never had a job in the trades and you didn’t go to school for it but you love to learn and you want a job that lets you help people and work with your hands, you’d be a good fit for HVAC Tech Builder or Build a Plumber.
If you’re an experienced HVAC technician, plumber, or electrician, we’d also love to see you at the career fair!

What To Expect
You’ll be interviewing, so come ready!
If you have experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical, that’s great! If not, that’s ok, too. We’d love to hire experienced people, but we’re also looking for people to join our Build a Plumber class starting August 17 and our HVAC Tech Builder class starting August 31.
These are PAID training opportunities where you’ll work with some of the best in the industry to become a HVAC technician or plumber!
Upon successful graduation from either program, technicians will transition into our Mid Shift schedule. Candidates should be excited about serving customers during afternoon and evening hours as they begin their careers with Morris Jenkins.
We’ll be interviewing and making hiring decisions THAT DAY. Qualified candidates can receive job offers before they leave the event. So, this really could be your chance to start fresh!

Work environment Frequently requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions and other hazards such as electrical shock, sharp objects, poisonous animals, etc. This job requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed by company policy.

- Individuals must be able to deadlift 90 pounds to a height of three feet or greater. This includes lifting and/or carrying materials required to fulfill the responsibilities of a drain specialist. This may include but is not limited to items such as toilets and drain cabling machines.
- Individuals must be able to hold and extend proper drain machines weighing at least 25 pounds for an extended time when applicable.
Work environment Frequently requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions and other hazards such as electrical shock, sharp objects, poisonous animals, etc. This job requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed by company policy.
