- DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
- The Staff Nurse under the supervision of the Charge Nurse is responsible for the nursing care of patients assigned to him/her, and to direct others in patient care.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional/Educational
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Illinois Registered Professional Nursing license with biennial renewal.
- Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
- Personal
- Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy.
- Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability.
- Possesses the ability to work under pressure.
Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
