What are the responsibilities and job description for the NUTRITION SERVICE SANITATION TECH position at Morris Hospital?
- DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
- Participates in maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen including, clean up of café, catering, special events, and dish area. Follows D-10 standards and philosophy. Maintains a safe, sanitary environment in accordance with Morris Hospital policy and IDPH and other regulatory agency regulations. Operates and properly maintains food service equipment including the dish machine.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional/Educational
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Food service experience preferred.
- Current Food Service Sanitation Certificate or Illinois Food Handler Training Certificate. Or must obtain one of the previously listed within 30 days of date of hire.
- Experience with kitchen equipment preferred.
- Personal
- Must demonstrate high standards of personal cleanliness and hygiene.
- Must demonstrate good social skills and a commitment to quality.
- Must demonstrate a willingness to work as a member of a team.
Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

Schedule: PT>40, All shifts as needed, 11:30am-8:00pm, 28 hours per week, every other weekend rotation
