The responsibilities of this position includes Driving, Transporting and Maintaining vehicles in a safe and effective manner.
High school diploma or equivalent. Good driving record, no violations, or accidents for the past 5 years.
Current and valid NYS Driver's License or Class C-CDL
Good driving record, no violations, or accidents for the past 5 years.
Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents and respond effectively.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Transport Board members
- Handle confidential Financial payroll and other Data, transporting to Agencies and organizations as requested. Maintain cleanliness of vehicle driven, perform routine safety inspection on a daily basis.
- Ensure that all supply levels of assigned vehicle are properly maintained.
- Maintain logs to account for vehicle expenses.
- Includes loading and unloading equipment.
- Perform other duties necessary or required.
- Completed departmental work orders according to specifications, and standards.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists workers in solving work problems.
- Other duties may be assigned.
