Morris Brown College is expanding opportunities for our students—and we’re looking for a passionate Chess Coach to help build and lead a competitive, intellectually vibrant chess program.

As we continue to grow our STEM, leadership, and co-curricular offerings, we recognize chess as a powerful tool for developing strategic thinking, discipline, confidence, and academic excellence. Our students are hungry for mentorship, structure, and a coach who believes in their potential.

We’re looking for someone who:

✔️ Has strong experience in competitive chess (USCF rating preferred)

✔️ Enjoys coaching beginners through advanced players

✔️ Can build a collegiate-level program from the ground up

✔️ Brings energy, professionalism, and a heart for HBCU culture

✔️ Wants to make a direct impact on the lives and futures of young scholars
