Duties
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures
- Ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed during imaging procedures
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout the process.
- Review medical histories and relevant clinical information to facilitate accurate diagnostic evaluation.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, images, and patient interactions in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and optimal patient outcomes.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles.
- Proficiency in operating medical imaging equipment
- Knowledge of medical physics related to radiation safety standards and dose management during imaging procedures.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures clearly to patients of all ages while demonstrating compassion and professionalism.
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving technology in medical imaging and stay current with industry best practices.
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
