Cashier/Customer Service

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team of BBQ enthusiasts. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling transactions. You will assist customers with their inquiries, manage the cash register, and ensure a pleasant shopping experience. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with menu inquiries.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
• Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Assist in merchandising efforts by organizing displays and ensuring products are stocked appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store environment.
• Support inventory management through stocking shelves and conducting regular inventory checks.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries via phone calls.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
