Job Summary
The job of Nutritional Service II was established for the purpose/s of preparing and distributing food items: providing complete and accurate documentation and audit trail for meals served; maintaining facilities in a sanitary condition and overseeing and/or assisting assigned food service personnel in food preparation.
Requirements / Qualifications
Current San Bernardino County Food Handler's Certification, or ServSafe Certification, and Valid Driver's License are required prior to employment. One year experience in quantity food service preferably within a school setting. Knowledge of preparation & serving large quantities of food; safe & sanitary cafeteria procedures; ability to lift heavy containers; ability to stand for long periods of time. High School Diploma, equivalent, or higher educational degree. Please be prepared to present if selected for a position. Passing Score on Examination. Exams are computerized and held at District Office in 29 Palms.
