What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surveillance Technical Manager position at MORONGO BAND OF MISSION INDIANS?
Under the direction of the Surveillance Director, the Surveillance Technical Manager is responsible for managing Surveillance Technicians in the performance of their duties to ensure that all NIGC and Tribal gaming ordinances are being followed, and all technical equipment is in working order.
MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct supervisory authority over Systems Programmer / Technicians.
Ensures all surveillance cameras, NVR’s (video recording equipment) and monitors are in working order. This includes Casino Morongo, MCRS and the Travel Centers.
- Train new Programmer/Technicians to perform their duties and provide refresher training for technicians.
- Responsible for maintaining workstations in surveillance room.
- Responsible for submitting to Director purchase orders for needed equipment.
- Responsible for forecasting/establishing surveillance equipment budget to Director.
- Must be able to read prints for any casino projects/expansion.
- Provide technical assistance to Casino/Hotel operations.
- Maintain tech staff schedules.
- Ensure that all surveillance equipment is in good working order.
- Assist local law enforcement by making duplicate cd’s and still photos from stored surveillance cd’s/NVRs.
- Conduct yearly evaluations on Systems Programmer and Technicians.
- Conduct weekly and monthly maintenance checks on CCTV equipment.
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
