Position Overview
The Digital Designer is responsible for ensuring that the Moroccanoil brand message is communicated with high visual impact across all digital channels. They must have a good eye for design, layout, typography, an elevated sense of aesthetic and a background in digital creative. They must be creative thinkers, able to manage robust workloads, organize timelines, concept creative independently and be comfortable presenting and receiving feedback from the Digital Creative Director.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Design & Execution: Design digital marketing materials and collateral including web banners, social media assets, landing pages, emails, online advertising, paid social animations and animated web assets. Come up with overarching concepts for campaigns and present to Digital Creative Director.
- Creative Collaboration: Concept visuals in partnership with the digital marketing and copy teams, under the oversight of the Digital Creative Director.
- Quality Control: Maintain brand aesthetic across all digital channels, upholding brand’s integrity in all creative executions.
- Manage Deadlines: Independently manage timelines and workload, coordinating with internal stakeholders as needed to ensure all projects are delivered on time
- Trend Analysis: Follow trends in the beauty space & propose new ideas for designs and campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media or related field.
- 4 years of experience specifically in digital design (experience in luxury, beauty & retail brands preferred).
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Expert proficiency in Photoshop animation and GIF creation.
- Fluency in all areas of visual design with exceptional skills in font usage, typography and layout.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Ability to manage deadlines and organize projects independently.
- Experience with online media and social networks (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, etc.).
- Knowledge of e-commerce channel asset best practices (e.g. general design rules for email creation, landing page layouts, banner creation, etc.).
- Understanding of latest digital trends, desktop and mobile.
- Highly creative with an eye for detail.
- Organized with a strong ability to multi-task.
- Able to work in a team setting or individually.
