Bilingual Junior Buyer (Mandarin/English)

Position Summary

MornstAir is seeking a Junior Buyer to support purchasing activities for our construction and project operations. This position will assist with vendor sourcing, quotation analysis, purchase-order processing, and delivery follow-up.

The Junior Buyer will collaborate with vendors and internal teams to help ensure that materials, tools, and services are purchased at competitive prices and delivered according to project requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career procurement professional to develop practical experience in a fast-paced, project-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Source potential vendors and request pricing and product information.
• Review and compare quotations based on price, quality, lead time, availability, and commercial terms.
• Support basic negotiations regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and purchasing terms.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders with appropriate review and approval.
• Track open orders and follow up with vendors to support on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with project teams, accounting, logistics, and vendors regarding purchasing and delivery needs.
• Help resolve routine order discrepancies, delivery delays, invoice issues, and other purchasing concerns.
• Maintain accurate purchase-order, quotation, vendor, and supplier records.
• Update purchasing and inventory information in the applicable ERP or internal systems.
• Support urgent and project-based procurement needs as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Professional proficiency in Mandarin and English.
• 1-3 years of purchasing, procurement, supply-chain, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to manage routine purchasing activities with regular guidance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication, coordination, and basic negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow up consistently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using an ERP, purchasing, or inventory-management system.
• Experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or another project-based environment.
• Experience communicating with vendors and coordinating across multiple departments.
