We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Bilingual Engineering Assistant to support our engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career who is looking to enter the engineering field and build a strong foundation in a professional, hands-on environment.
In this role, you will gain exposure to real-world engineering projects while supporting technical documentation, project coordination, and communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and develop practical skills that will help you grow within the industry.
What You’ll Do
- Support engineers with day-to-day technical and project-related tasks
- Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and engineering documentation
- Translate technical documents between Mandarin and English
- Help coordinate with Mandarin-speaking clients, suppliers, and contractors
- Assist with scheduling meetings and tracking project updates
- Maintain organized project files, drawings, and documentation
- Support data entry, record-keeping, and general administrative tasks
- Assist in reviewing documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Help prepare purchase orders, invoices, and other project-related paperwork
- Participate in team meetings and support communication across teams
- Contribute to process improvements and team efficiency initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED (Associate’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred)
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and verbal)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Eagerness to learn and grow within an engineering career path
Salary : $64,000 - $69,749
