Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for retail sales transactions and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and service areas
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions
- Assist in food handling, food safety procedures, and basic food preparation to ensure quality standards are met
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience with knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and café operations
- Experience bartending or serving in a food industry setting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and food preparation standards
- Ability to work part-time hours flexibly, including evenings and weekends as needed
