Responsibilities:
Manage the daily clinical regimen of each resident, implementing and evaluating the care of residents to ensure the highest degree of quality care.
Assist in planning and implementing the nursing care of residents within the skilled nursing setting with the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Provide direct care and supervise the care given by CNAs and supportive staff members to ensure continuity of care between shifts.
Maintain role as resident advocate with a focus on the facility's mission.
Accurately document resident care and changes in condition in accordance with policy.
Monitor and report resident pain, depression, and other medical conditions.
Administer medications safely and per policy.
Requirements:
Valid New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Certification
