Who We Are:

Foster Flats is offering a hands-on summer internship for students interested in real estate, business, marketing, hospitality, or sales. This internship provides an opportunity to work directly with an experienced property management team while learning how apartment communities operate day to day.

As a Summer Leasing Intern, you will gain exposure to leasing strategy, customer experience, marketing, and property operations while building professional skills that translate to many industries.

What You’ll Experience:

During the internship, you will work alongside the Property Manager and leasing team to learn how successful communities attract residents, manage operations, and create exceptional living experiences.

This internship will give you practical experience in:

• Sales and relationship building
• Marketing and social media for real estate
• Customer service and resident engagement
• Business operations and property management
• Professional communication and organization

What You’ll Do

• Welcome and assist prospective residents visiting the community.
• Support the leasing team with property tours and prospect follow up.
• Learn the leasing process and assist with scheduling tours and responding to inquiries.
• Help maintain leasing records and update prospect information in the CRM system.
• Assist with marketing initiatives including social media posts, flyers, and community promotions.
• Help prepare model apartments and common areas to ensure they are presentation ready.
• Support resident engagement initiatives and community events.
• Assist with apartment readiness including inspections and coordination of cleaning or preparation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current college student pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized, motivated, and eager to learn.
• Interest in real estate, sales, marketing, or business operations.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, team-oriented environment and flexible schedule.
• Experience with Canva, social media, or marketing tools is a plus.

Physical Demands

• Ability to walk the property frequently throughout the day
• Ability to climb stairs as needed during tours or inspections
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
