What You’ll Do – Aligned With Our Core Competencies
1. Business Acumen & Revenue Impact
This role directly supports — and influences — marina financial performance.
- Manage billing, receivables, collections, and customer accounts
- Track availability and minimize downtime between tenants
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and renewals to maximize revenue through management of rate and occupancy
- Promote long-term contracts and renewals to stabilize revenue
- Identify underutilized slips, racks, or storage and coordinate with Ops to fill them
- Support sales initiatives and customer follow-ups (e.g., post-arrival check-ins, renewals, upsell opportunities)
2. Customer Relations & Front-Office Leadership
The office is the heartbeat of the marina experience.
- Deliver premium customer service at all times
- Anticipate customer needs and respond promptly and professionally
- Build strong, lasting relationships with slip holders and transient guests
- Handle customer issues calmly and effectively, escalating when appropriate
- Represent the marina professionally as a visible, trusted point of contact
3. People Management & Coordination
You’ll help align people, communication, and priorities.
- Coordinate daily communication between office staff, dock teams, Ops Managers, and GM
- Support training, coaching, and development of office and customer-facing staff
- Reinforce consistent standards, messaging, and execution across the team
- Help reduce friction and errors through clear communication and follow-through
4. Standards & Execution
You set the standard for professionalism and consistency.
- Ensure office operations, systems, and workflows run smoothly
- Maintain accurate records, schedules, and documentation
- Enforce safety, regulatory, and company standards
- Take pride in presentation, organization, and attention to detail
- Utilize company software and systems effectively
5. Adaptability & Proactive Leadership
This role requires judgment, initiative, and flexibility.
- Adapt to seasonal volume swings and peak transient periods
- Identify inefficiencies and propose better ways to operate
- Balance multiple priorities without losing focus on what matters most
- Step in where needed to support the team and keep operations moving
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Strong administrative or operations leadership experience
- Background in hospitality, service operations, or customer-facing environments
- Excellent organization, communication, and follow-through
- Strong judgment and initiative
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems
Preferred
- Experience with reservations, billing, or booking systems
- Exposure to sales, renewals, or revenue coordination
- Marina, resort, or property operations experience (not required)
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
