Morningstar Living is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team at Moravian Hall Square in Nazareth, PA. As part of our rehabilitation team, you'll work with older adults across short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, personal care, and outpatient services, helping residents regain function, improve mobility, and maximize independence.

What will I do as a Physical Therapist Assistant?
- Implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist residents and patients in restoring mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence following illness, injury, or surgery.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment responses to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Adapt treatment activities during therapy sessions in collaboration with the Physical Therapist to support patient goals.
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and home programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with rehabilitation staff, nursing, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members to support positive outcomes.
- Contribute to a safe, dignified, and resident-focused care environment.
What do I need as a Physical Therapist Assistant?
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant licensure required.
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles, treatment techniques, and rehabilitation practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Experience working with older adults, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or outpatient populations is preferred.
