Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

We are currently seeking a licensed Hair Stylist for a temporary 6–8 week assignment in our on-site community salon. This is a unique opportunity for a stylist who enjoys building relationships and providing personalized service in a welcoming, resident-focused environment.
Unlike a traditional salon setting, our premier community salon serves residents living throughout our vibrant senior living community. You'll have the opportunity to develop meaningful connections with clients while enjoying a consistent daytime schedule and an established clientele.
What will I do in the role of Hair Stylist?
- Provide haircuts, styling, shampoos, and other salon services to residents
- Responsible for scheduling appointments and coordinating, Independent Living, Health Center, Personal Care and Galilee House appointments with nursing staff and Physical Therapy Department, to meet the needs of residents and their families.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive salon experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional salon environment
What do I need in the role of Hair Stylist?
- Possess a valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of State, Cosmetology license.
- Interest and understanding in working with older adults, particularly those with dementia.
- Experience in providing Cosmetology services, nail services and waxing services.
- Maintain excellent phone skills, must be able schedule appointments according to the specific needs of the residents.
- The ability to communicate effectively to residents, family members and co-workers throughout the community.
