What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Development position at Morningstar Living?
Ready to lead with purpose and grow impact through inspired giving? Morningstar Living is hiring a Director of Development for our Moravian Hall Square campus in Nazareth, PA. We’re a faith-based nonprofit advancing our mission through philanthropy, partnerships, and volunteer engagement.
What you’ll lead
- Multi-year fundraising strategy across major gifts, planned giving, annual appeals & campaigns
- Prospecting & donor cultivation with a major-gifts focus
- Grants: research, write, submit, and steward awards
- Donor/pledge policies, gift acceptance, reporting & reconciliation
- Community partnerships across the Lehigh Valley
- Oversight of our Volunteer Program
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree/CFRE preferred)
- 5 years fundraising success, especially major gifts & campaigns
- Experience with bequests/QCDs/CGAs/DAFs & donor CRMs
