In this roleyou'llbe responsible forempowering millions of investors globally byleading the product managementand designfunctionsfor some of Morningstar's most visible products-Morningstar.com, our international Global.Morningstar.com site,andMorningstarInvestor.Youwillownthe developmentof a sharedproductvisionandtheexecutionofaroadmapthatincreasesengagementfrom millions ofactivelymonthlyvisitors to tens ofmillionsvisitorswith Morningstar.comandother properties.Your reach will include our digital site,mobileappandconsumerGenerativeAI platform apps.You willbe responsible forensuring Product and Design teams are effectively partnering with Engineering, Editorial, Marketing, Ad Sales,Supportandother groups across Morningstartoachieve this roadmap.

Knowledge of investing isnecessary,but the ideal candidatewillalsohave experience leadingglobalteams buildingconsumerdigitalsubscriptionproductsand/or digital mediaexperiencesacrossweb and mobile interfaces.This person willneed to be anexperienced leader that sets high bars,expectsownership,is willing toinnovate onwaysof buildingproduct,andtakes an active approach tohelpingteams reach their maximum potential.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage theglobalroadmap forMorningstar's Individual Investor groupproducts
- Ensure there is afocuson delivering positive outcomes forour customersby being their chief advocate
- Establish the use of generative AI across all areas of our product development lifecycle.
- Partner with engineering group to drive execution and ensure product managers and designers are providing a high degree of support to counterparts
- Grow and evolvetheteams'processes and practices around theuse of user research, product testing,and iterative agile development
- Establish competitive analysis intelligence, market analysis,and customerresearch that aids in the understanding of current and future customer needs
- Plan the structure and growth of the product managementand design teams
- Ownthe OKR setting process for your teams, working closely withbusiness partners to ensure alignment andfocusacross theindividualbusiness.
- Create a higherperforming teamthrough regular feedback,development plans, coaching,goal setting,recurring 1v1s and performance conversations
- Staycurrent on product development across Morningstar toidentifydependencies, impacts, and opportunities for the individual investor roadmap
- Define and report regularly onsuccessmetrics measuring customersatisfaction, productengagementand business impact
- Partner withcommercial teamson the go-to market strategiesand the development of product-driven growth
- Build relationships withother Morningstar businessproduct teams across the company tohelpidentifycross-team collaboration opportunities
- Achievecustomer satisfaction andfinancialgrowthandgoals

Requirements:
- 10 years of product management experiencewith a strongcustomer-focused mindset.
- 5 years leading and managing product managementand/or designteams
- 5 years working withdirect-to-consumersoftware products
- Ability tomanage multiple workstreams and teams with stakeholders across the organization
- Experienceworking closely with business & marketing partners
- Comfort and experience managing teamsdistributedglobally
- Skilled communicator, comfortable with delivering presentations and providing clear written communication
