Grocery Delivery Driver

Morningstar Coffee is hiring a dependable, low-key Grocery Delivery Driver to service our local grocery partners. This is a straightforward, steady role for someone who likes working independently, staying organized, and representing a strong local brand in stores.

Schedule

Start time: 7:00 AM

Shift length: 8 hours

Typical flow of the day:

• Arrive at 7:00 AM

• Double-check route for the day

• Check in briefly with manager

• Head out to assigned grocery accounts

• Return to warehouse

• Load van for next day

• Clock out and go home

Pay & Advancement

Starting wage: $17/hour

After 3 months of solid performance:

• Wage goes up to $18/hour

After 1 additional year of satisfactory work (following the 3-month period):

• Increase to $20/hour

Core Responsibilities

Daily Route Execution

• Drive company van to assigned grocery stores

• Deliver Morningstar products accurately and on time

• Maintain professional, respectful relationships with store staff

In-Store Support

• Check back stock and bring product to shelves

• Stock shelves neatly and according to store standards

• Monitor inventory levels (no exact counts required)

• Note which products are running low

• Fill out order forms for items that need replenishment

Documentation

• Visit receiver’s office

• Obtain proof of delivery signatures

• Ensure order documentation is completed properly

Warehouse Wrap-Up

• Return to warehouse after route

• Load van with next day’s deliveries

• Assist with basic warehouse tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Able to lift and move coffee cases regularly

• Organized and detail-oriented

• Comfortable working independently

• Professional demeanor in retail environments
