Who We Are
Morningstar Children & Family Services provides a nurturing and supportive environment for youth to grow and succeed. As the Education Coordinator, you will play a vital role in helping residents achieve educational success by developing personalized supports and creating opportunities to inspire a love for learning.
What You'll Do
As our Education Coordinator, you’ll:
*Design an engaging classroom environment on campus with resources that encourage educational growth.
*Collaborate with Morningstar Academy and Glynn County Schools to support residents’ individual learning plans.
*Provide personalized learning assistance for youth who are suspended or unable to attend school.
*Work with teachers and caseworkers to develop creative and fun curriculum goals.
*Launch and lead an Educational Buddy Program that matches volunteers with residents to improve reading and bridge learning gaps.
Your efforts will directly impact the confidence and academic success of every resident you support!
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who:
Holds a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field (preferred).
Has at least 2 years of professional experience working with youth.
Is resourceful, compassionate, and has a knack for making learning exciting.
Can build strong partnerships with schools, staff, and volunteers.
