We are seeking a dependable and caring Medication Aide for a full-time, first shift position. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents by administering medication and ensuring their overall well-being in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Administer prescribed medications to residents as scheduled and document administration records accurately.
- Monitor residents for medication side effects and report any adverse reactions to the licensed nurse.
- Assist with daily living activities as needed, ensuring resident comfort and safety.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.
- Collaborate with nursing and caregiving staff to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and team members.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements.
