Senior Living Physical Activities Assistant

We’re looking for an upbeat, compassionate Activities Assistant to support our Memory Care neighborhood with a strong focus on fitness, movement, and holistic wellness. This is the perfect role for someone who is energetic, creative, and deeply enjoys connecting with seniors—especially those living with dementia.

If you love leading a great stretch session, believe in the power of music and sensory experiences, and can turn everyday moments into meaningful engagement, this role is for you.

You’ll play a hands-on role in creating a vibrant, engaging environment that supports both the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and assist with fitness-based programming (chair exercises, stretching, balance, light movement)
• Support holistic wellness activities such as music, sensory engagement, relaxation, and mindfulness
• Engage residents one-on-one and in small groups to encourage participation and connection
• Adapt activities to meet the cognitive and physical needs of memory care residents
• Assist with program setup, facilitation, and cleanup
• Help create a warm, positive atmosphere that promotes dignity and joy
• Observe and communicate resident engagement and responses with the team

After a 30-day probationary period, we will conduct an employee evaluation. Based on your needs and ours, you may be offered a full-time position which would include:
