In this fun and rewarding role, you’ll help plan and lead engaging activities that get residents involved, active, and genuinely enjoying each day. One day you might be hosting karaoke, the next leading a craft, and ending the week with a pumpkin decorating party. From games, music, and crafts to outings, themed events, and meaningful one-on-one moments, your enthusiasm will help create experiences our residents look forward to!

What You’ll Do (AKA: How You’ll Make Magic Happen!)

You’ll work alongside our Director of Life Enrichment and activities team to:

• Assist in planning and leading fun daily activities (music, games, crafts, exercise, socials, themed parties & more!)

• Encourage residents to stay active, social, and engaged

• Build meaningful connections while brightening someone’s day

• Go on trips and outings as a supportive escort

• Share ideas and help shape our monthly activities calendar

• Keep activity supplies stocked & assist with resident interest surveys

• Be observant and help share important resident feedback with staff

Activity Assistant Requirements

Six months to one year of related experience and/or training — or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. While experience helps, but enthusiasm and heart go a long way here!
