Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Provide support for patients with dementia and those requiring specialized care.
• Help maintain a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to aseptic techniques.
• Assist in the administration of medications as directed by nursing staff.
• Support pediatric patients with their specific needs and comfort.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient information accurately using medical terminology and maintain confidentiality.

Experience

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with critical care practices and hospital medicine is advantageous.
• Knowledge of anatomy and catheter care is a plus.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
