What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Cook 6:30am-6:30pm position at Morning Star Special Care?
- Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures
- Cooks meals according to food safety standards
- Serving meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
- Taking inventory of kitchen supplies and food items
- Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations
- Operate some kitchen equipment as needed
- Ability to maintain a clean environment
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Passion for helping patients achieve an excellent quality of life
- Attention to detail when reviewing dietary restrictions and meal plans
- Food handling certificate preferred

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
