Child ABA Behavior Therapist

Job Description:

Behavior Therapists at Morning Star ABA Therapy enjoy a fulfilling career helping children with Autism by implementing top quality behavior programs designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts. Interventionists are responsible for direct one to one therapy, parent consultation and ongoing data collection. This work takes place mainly in client homes, but also in the community and schools in Orange County.

Requirements:

• Must be available at least 3 or 4 weekdays/schooldays during high demand hours of 3:00 pm - 7:30 pm or 8:00 pm, this is the minimum availability however more availability is highly preferred.
• Ability to maintain high physical activity by frequently running, lifting, swiftly moving, bending, squatting and carrying objects/children weighing a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
• Verifiable employment experience with children; ABA Therapy experience preferred.
• Minimum High School Diploma; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. Transcript is required.
• Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years.
• Reliable vehicle, proof of car insurance and undergo DMV driving record check.
• TB test per State laws.
• Undergo criminal background check/Livescan per State laws.
• Must be technically savvy; able to independently email and email attachments, enter and save data in various computer programs such as Word, Excel and Google Apps. Correctly calculate data percentages, rates, durations, frequencies and write quality, objective clinical narrative notes.
• Demonstrate the ability to meet due dates.
