Morning Dew Cultivars is seeking a dedicated and experienced Post-Harvest Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proficiency in METRC
  • Strong management skills
  • Processing and Quality Control: Ensuring high-quality cannabis through effective drying, trimming, and curing techniques, with a focus on maintaining product integrity.
  • Environmental Control: Managing environmentals (temperature, humidity, airflow) to optimize curing and prevent quality issues, while implementing standard operating procedures.
  • Inventory and Yield Management: Tracking post-harvest inventory and yield using seed-to-sale systems, analyzing metrics to minimize loss and maximize value.
  • Staff Training and Management: Leading and training a post-harvest team to ensure productivity, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Process Optimization: Using lean management to improve workflows and efficiency, while identifying best practices to enhance speed and quality.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Enforcing OSHA guidelines and state cannabis regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Data Management: Analyzing key data related to yield, processing times, and waste, to support operational improvements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring accurate tracking and documentation of the post-harvest process for compliance with state laws.
  • Packaging and Labeling: Overseeing packaging processes to meet regulatory standards, ensuring accurate labeling of products.
  • Waste Management: Implementing environmentally responsible waste disposal practices and minimizing waste through repurposing strategies.
  • Problem-Solving: Addressing real-time issues and adapting to production demands to maintain efficiency.
  • Equipment Management: Maintaining and troubleshooting post-harvest equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinating with cultivation team for smooth transitions from harvest to final product.
  • Budget Control: Managing budgets and costs associated with operations, implementing cost-saving measures without sacrificing quality.
  • Productivity Optimization: Focusing on maximizing productivity in the post-harvest process to meet production targets.
  • Customer Knowledge: Aligning practices with customer preferences and industry trends to enhance product appeal.

This role requires strong organizational skills, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring the delivery of premium cannabis products. METRC proficiency is a requirement.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years old, pass a background check
