We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Host/Hostess to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences at our restaurant. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage the reservation system and ensure efficient seating arrangements.
- Assist servers by clearing tables promptly and resetting them for new guests.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping and sanitizing tables.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest inquiries with professionalism and provide assistance as needed.
- Utilize OpenTable POS systems for managing orders when required.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest relations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially OPEN TABLE, is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- A genuine desire to help others and enhance the dining experience for all guests.
