The Galley team works together to create a clean and positive environment to provide excellent meals for both the crewmembers and passengers. We encourage cooks to bring their own style of cooking and recipes for meals and baked goods. Responsible for assisting Galley Manager in planning weekly menus, preparing, and presentation of food served; maintaining the highest standard of food quality and cleanliness. Prior cook experience required. You can work three days in this position and earn 36-39 hours p/wk. Starting pay for days is $17.00 p/hour. Benefits include holiday pay, 401K, and a season-end bonus of .50 for every hour worked!
Works independently to provide an evening meal for the crewmembers and preps food for the day shift. Responsibilities include baking, stocking, and cleaning galley areas. Must be self-driven, manage time wisely, and have prior cooking experience including baking. Starting pay is $17.35 p/hour. Benefits include holiday pay, 401K, and a season-end bonus of .50 for every hour worked! Hiring both MI & WI residents.
Galley/Cook is required to hold or have the ability to obtain a USCG Merchant Mariner Credential and a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
