Part-Time Senior Bookkeeper – Real Estate Development (Hybrid)
Moritz Development, LLC is a Pittsburgh-based real estate development firm seeking an experienced Part-Time Senior Bookkeeper to manage bookkeeping across multiple development entities.
This role begins on-site to get fully up to speed, then transitions to a hybrid schedule with most work performed remotely and weekly or bi-weekly in-person meetings.
Responsibilities
• Maintain books for multiple LLCs/LPs
• AP/AR and monthly bank, loan, and credit card reconciliations
• Track intercompany activity, capital contributions, and distributions
• Track land, soft costs, hard costs, and builder deposits by project
• Support loan draw tracking and CPA coordination
• Prepare monthly financials and keep records CPA-ready
Qualifications
• 5 years bookkeeping experience
• Real estate, development, or construction accounting experience required
• Multi-entity experience
• QuickBooks proficiency
• Able to work independently after onboarding
• CPA not required
Schedule
• Part-time: 10–20 hours per week
• Hybrid: on-site onboarding, then remote with periodic in-person meetings
