Morian Kahla, Attorneys at Law, is seeking a full-time paralegal/legal assistant at our office in Jasper, Texas. Prior legal experience is preferred but not required. A perfect candidate with no legal experience but with strong administrative skills and the ability to learn quickly would be considered for the position.
Must be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook). This position is responsible for providing litigation support to several attorneys with a high-volume workload and working collaboratively with others in a team-oriented environment.
Duties and Responsibilities: This position will provide a full range of administrative and litigation support including, but not limited to: document creation, preparation/revision of correspondence, administrative filings, court filings, electronic transcription, expense reimbursement processing, travel arrangements, answering phone calls, interacting with clients, and calendar maintenance.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Recent legal experience a plus
- Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and multi-task.
- Possess a strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment with minimal supervision.
