DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain WWTP in compliance with MUB requirements and WVDEP and US EPA
- Operate and Maintain Digester Belt Filter Presses
- Monitor equipment, oil levels, digester, and truck levels
- Collect samples from presses
- Maintain cleanliness of press room, chemical room, and breezeway at all times
- Keep accurate records of sludge processed
- Keep accurate records of water and chemicals used
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- A valid driver’s license is required with clean driving record
- High School Diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age
- Hold a Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement or be able to acquire CDL license and tanker endorsement within 6 months of hire (course paid by MUB)
- Ability to drive a Tandem Dump Truck
- Possess mechanical skills
- Possess basic skills using hand tools, hand operated power tools, and lawn equipment
- Must be able to work unsupervised and stay on track
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor environments
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be committed to workplace safety
