We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and professional Part-Time / PRN Driver to provide transportation services for both non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) and funeral home transfer services. This position is ideal for someone with a flexible schedule who takes pride in providing safe, respectful, and reliable transportation.
Job Responsibilities
Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, dialysis centers, nursing homes, and other approved destinations.
Perform decedent removals and transfers from residences, hospitals, nursing facilities, and medical examiner offices to funeral homes with professionalism, dignity, and compassion.
Provide courteous, respectful, and compassionate service to clients, families, healthcare staff, and funeral professionals.
Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle when appropriate.
Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and readiness of company vehicles.
Complete trip logs, transfer documentation, and required reports accurately.
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, HIPAA privacy standards, and applicable state regulations.
Be available for scheduled shifts and occasional after-hours, evening, overnight, weekend, or holiday calls as needed.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Must be at least 25 years of age.
Most reside within the Morgantown area.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Ability to lift and maneuver equipment and assist with transfers when required.
Must demonstrate compassion, discretion, and emotional maturity when interacting with patients and grieving families.
Experience in transportation, healthcare, EMS, funeral service, or customer service is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
Schedule
Part-Time / PRN (As Needed)
Flexible scheduling based on business needs.
Day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts available.
On-call availability may be required for funeral home transfer services.
